San Francisco’s (and California’s) largest green hotel (550 rooms), as certified by the U.S. Green Building Council (more)    came on as the anchor hotel for San Francisco yesterday. Details as we work them out but talk about exciting. Our bike route to the Nation’s Capitol begins in the largest platinum level certified bicycle city in America  from one of the very  few gold level certified LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) hotel properties in the USA. the Intercontinental San Francisco

Rising 32 stories above the vibrant South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood, its translucent cool-blue tower has quickly taken its place among the city’s most admired landmarks. Inside and out, the Intercontinental Hotel San Francisco,  near the Moscone Center and CalTrain station in San Francisco is as graceful  as it is spectacular. And we look forward to building thet Golden Gate City around them as they make for  a propitious  cornerstone for our new cross country route.
