Wheeler Schebler Carburetor Company, 1907

Behind the Fountain Square Goodwill here in Indianapolis, is a building that played a major part in the automobile Industry. Now the Wheeler Arts Ctty, it began life in 1907 as the state of the art Wheeler Schebler Carburetor Company. It was here that they perfected the carburetor design that all the major car manufacturers in America (15) relied on for a number of decades, until 1951.
