Science of Bent Pedaling Systems

If you think, like I did, that bike shoes and the pedals they power are all pretty close in the performance they deliver, it is time for a rethink. Enter Kelvin Clark, of Angle Tech Cycles in Colorado. Kelvin. one of the greatest minds in recumbent cycling today, never leaves a stone unturned where the products he sells in his store is concerned. All the way down to bells, cables, tires and bike locks, if Kelvin has not fully researched the item in question, you won't find it on his store room shelves.

When I told Kelvin I just wanted a pair of SPD cleats for a bike I was building, he was not content to leave it that. He wanted to know how I planned to use them and etc, etc. By the time I had answered a fair number of questions, I felt like I had become a pretty educated shopper. And you can go down that road without having to take the time to place a phone call.

Kelvin has put a lot of his knowledge about recumbent pedaling systems on to a web page. Do take the time to READ his words, you will be glad you did!
