Just got back from the Kinetic Sculpture Race in Arcata, CA. A 3 day event, we watched almost two of them. Very Fun! Lots of designs that can do water, sand and road (a requirement) based on the recumbent. Lots of like minded bent heads! Here's days 1-3 in video from last year:
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3
The fun on the West Coast continues in Ventura on 10/27 with their one day Kinetic Sculpture event as per: http://www.kineticrace.com . It is lean in pictures but here are some great ones: http://www.flickr.com/photos/41894196162@N01/sets/1011475
Here are other Kinetic Sculpture race cities:
Boulder, CO
Baltimore, MD
Klamath Falls, OR

April 1st. BREAKING NEWS! One time staunch supporter of recumbent bicycling (EZ Biker) is now officially disassociating himself with recumbent bicycles! Yes, I've decided to move onto a REAL Bicycle that will have me being accepted back into the diamond frame community! I'm truly excited about my new bicycle, seen in the photo here! EZ (April Fool) Biker ;-)
