International Bike Celebrity Coming to Palo Alt0, CA

Ines Brunn, who has fascinated audiences all over the world and in such exclusive venues as the Sri Lanka Hilton, Carnival City in Johannesburg, South Africa and the famous Hansa Varieté Theatre in Hamburg, Germany is coming to the Mitchell Park Community Center in Palo Alto, CA.

Ines started working on stage at the age of 13 dancing with a show group to variations of the "Cats“ and "Starlight Express“ musicals. Soon she was competing as an artistic cyclist and did that for 16 years, 12 of which were as a member of the German National Team. During that time she invented the "Ines-Straddle“, a trick that is listed in the international rule book of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and she became the first female to do a handstand on the handlebars of a bicycle.

Her magical skills while standing with her feet (and not her hands) on the handlebars made her famous on European and Chinese TV. Many tens of millions of people there watched her fry pancakes and dumplings while standing on her bike's steering mechanism. China is so captivated by Ines they have produced a documentary about her life that is due out next month.

In America, if not the world, her prowess as an artistic cyclist knows no equal. In the US one or two times a year, she commands the interest, respect and attention of cyclists of all levels and abilities. This as people from all walks of life and of all ages are amazed at the kinds of things this loving giant of a woman can do on a bicycle.

And she is coming to the Mitchell Park Community Center, right here in Palo Alto, CA on April 4th. Details
