ha Dirt Feelin is playing Central Park (at the Farmers Mkt) in Davis this Wednesday. Be your chance to hear one of the bands that is playing our 10/22 Davis NBG Fest at the Davis Commons. Hope to see you there. I’ll be on The Eagle Bicycle!!

Talk about First Class, check out this poster Eric Warp created! I showed you the black and white version last week. But this is epic! And on Thursday, it will be hanging two-sided on a foam core poster board in the massive window at Whole Foods that looks out of the Davis Commons. 40 inches wide by 40 inches tall!!

img_3979-2Eric and I built the Lightning  Phantom today at Eric’s warehouse. An easy build,he also showed me the kinds of work Stage Nine does in making 8,000 sq. ft. exhibitions for science museums, the LA County Fair, and (currently) the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, CA. We also took measurement  for the signage for our raffle  that will accompany the bike when Whole Foods exhibits it in their store.

phantom-graphics-mockupEverything about  how this beautiful bike will be seen is first class.  After lunch at the Tower Cafe in Sacramento, we went to Whole Foods in Davis where we went through some of the specifics of hanging the bike as well as the 40×40 inch foam core mounted poster with Norman, their building maintenance manager

MV Rojas whose work as a model, artist and photographer knows no bounds, volunteered the services of herself and her Nikon to document our 10/22 Davis NBG Fest. Because she is passionate about anything she lends her hands to, I know our relaunch of the National Bicycle Greenway will be in very very good hands. How exciting!!

A beautiful person with a huge heart, don’t be afraid to ask for her talent if your are in need of a model, a graphic artist or even a top level photographer. I know we are honored that she has offered to help us. WoW!!

Whole Foods which donated four $50  certificates to our raffle joins the Yolo Berry Yogurt Certificate for  $50 and J Cunningham Salon  which donated $50 worth of Hair Care Products to our raffle! A lot  more coming in the several weeks ahead!

Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.”
