From graphic design magician, Eric Warp, here is the poster for the May 27, 2017 Davis NBG Fest, the symbolic kick-off for our SF/Oakland to Washington, DC, 15th Mayors’ Ride campaign !!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Toward this end, Davis Car-Free, bike zealot Mayor, Robb Davis, will receive
Tom Ayres, PhD, a high profile San Francisco East Bay cyclist and former East Bay Bike Coalition board member with the final form of this  City of Davis proclamation draft .












Tom will have pedaled from Oakland with Mayor Libby Schaaf‘s 2017 proclamation before he hands the torch to an American River Parkway and Reno bound  rider(s) yet to be announced.

At our event, festival goers will be able to enjoy food, drink, booth exhibitions and the live music of the Roots Man Project, Beyond Uranium and widely celebrated pianist Charles Lang.

In case you missed it, here is the NBG Mayors’ Ride proclamation that Governor Jerry Brown gave us in 2004 when he was the Mayor of Oakland. If you click on the image, you will see the paragraphs that honor NBG Director, Martin Krieg in 2002 and in 2004.
