This was taken at the gate to the UC Davis Arboretum directly adjacent to Whole Foods Davis (now closed). Outside the gate is the Davis Commons, the site of our 10/22 Davis NBG Fest!

In the Arboretum, behind my bike, Avid Reader Books will be selling specially marked copies of Awake Again, all the way back from Head Injury – forward by Wayne Dyer, PhD that commemorate this event.

btw: The Via Recumbent, long out of production, that you are looking at here, was seen by 40 million people when I rode it from San Francisco to Boston in 1986. It’s also pictured on the back cover of my book…..
