To bike across America on our route, you can start in San Francisco or in Santa Cruz at the ocean’s edge. Or you can start in Oakland, as did Thomas Stevens in 1884 when he became the first man to pedal a bicycle across America. You can learn more about that ride and San Francisco HERE.
