In addition to the Reno tour, join Martin Krieg on his Eagle HiWheel bicycle as he also replicates a memorable part of  the 2009 Mayors’ Ride.  He will take you on some of  the oasis that runs across Reno, five miles to  Sparks. On his way from San Francisco to Salt Lake City  per this STORY, this is the pathway he used to get across this part of the state. On what ended up being a  1000-mile ride, he became the first man to actually pedal (not walk) a HiWheel bicycle over the Sierras and across Nevada, the most mountainous state in the Union. His was also the first unsupported HiWheel ride to cross the 100-mile Salt Lake basin in Utah per this account.
