Busycle to Tommy Castro

The Busycle was a moving party when we pedaled the 1.6 miles from the Busycle garage to California Ave, in Palo Alto's other downtown, to hear the much sought after blues musician, Tommy Castro, play the final installment of the 2008 Palo Alto Summer Twilight Concert Series.

Bubbles filled the air as floated by the new bubble machines that Kristen Dimont outfitted the Busycle with. This as James Johnson treated us with the soulful tunes that he blew from his saxophone both to and from the event. Paul Guttenberg, was here from Davis, CA visiting his friend Liz Jessen. He served as both an announcer with authority and a cheerleader with gusto as he belted out one Busycle slogan after another, many that he created in the joy of the moment.

Busycle mechanic Jeff Kistler escorted us as he made sure our machine ran smoothly and efficiently. Besides the reward of Tommy Castro's great music, Raw Daddy's, James Hall, and Clarina Bradshaw, filled up our fuel tanks with their amazing and ultra tasty raw food flax seed snow cones.

THX 4 all of U!!

GRATITUDE: if the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough -- meister eckhart

On behalf of all the merchants in the California Avenue district, "Thank you" for bringing the Buscycle to the Twilight Concert last night.

It was a real hit with the kids, and seeing all the bubbles coming from that direction, watching the little ones scampering after them &  dancing to the music was a treat.

I forwarded your wonderful email invitation and reminders that had the photograph of the Buscycle to my email list of merchants. It drew their attention even further to the terrific concert last night.

So thank you again, for your help and support for yet another successful California Avenue event!

Ronna Devincenzi, President, California Avenue Area Development Association

That was so fun Martin + Ronna!

It was amazing how the busycle pulled up right next to the stage just as they began,

My daughter loves the bubbles + making friends. she saw lots of kids from her nursery school.

Then the magnificent rainbow appeared after the show + we drove right through the middle.

We had a fabulous time + we look forward to more adventures on the Busycle (hopefully) on California Ave!
